McKynzie's 1st Birthday {Party}
McKynzie turned 1 on May 17, 2013. That day, we spent together as a family at Fairy Tale Town, buying McKynzie's "annual" Build-a-Bear (tradition we started when she was born) and ending the morning with pizza from Johns Incredible Pizza. It was perfect
McKynzie's birthday "party" was held on Saturday, May 25th at Ryan's parents house. My sister flew in from Idaho the night before and helped me with the last minute decorations. (Like mentioned in previous blogs, I handmade all of her 1st birthday decorations!).
Her party was a success, minus McKynzie sleeping through most of it. No matter how hard you try, you can't rely on your baby actually taking a nap At Naptime...her schedule was all screwed up. Let's face it, when you have a baby in general, you are ALWAYS going to be on "their time!"
McKynzie received quite a few gifts, including a Minnie Mouse kitchen & couch, a slide & a Radio Flyer Wagon!
Cake smash was a success, however we already experienced that once before at her 1 year pictures, but it was still just as special as the first time!
Overall, the party was a success & it was a great day. I was so grateful to everyone who came to help us celebrate our Angel's 1st Birthday!
