She is growing and growing and growing! Thursday she had her urinologist appointment and everything went WELL! The doctor is not *highly* concerned with her kidneys, tubes, or the cyst. For now, he thinks that McKynzie will just grow out of everything because she is so little. In 6 months he wants to re-ultrasound her kidneys and in a year or two he wants to redo the VCUG. He put her on an antibiotic for the next few months to help prevent any UTI's she may be prone to (since she is at a higher risk now for UTIs). If McKynzie happens to get another UTI in the next few months, she might have to go on an antibiotic for 2 years. If she gets multiple UTIs in the next few months, then we will reevaluate her and see where to go from there. BUT for now, She IS HEALTHY and HAPPY and that is all that matters.
McKynzie has been pulling to stand and crawling all over the place. She is getting into everything and definitely keeping us on our toes! Her giggles are contagious...even on the most challenging days!
She has been eating more "People" Food..and LOVING every minute of it. She absolutely loves to feed herself. Her favorites this week are bread and corn....and her cheerios of course. She is even starting to like FRUIT...AMAZING right?! She
Her sleeping patterns have been varying a lot lately...let's just say Caffeine has been our *Best Friend* But to be honest...I have managed to get a lot of unpacking and cleaning done in those wee hours of the morning!!
